In today's competition, Kim Kyung-joo played in the 7th group of inner road, and finally slid 37.88 seconds, ranking 12th; Tian Ruining was in the 12th group inner road, and finally slid out of 37.98 seconds, ranking 14th.
The gold, silver and bronze medalists of the event were: Erin Jackson of the United States (37.04 seconds), Miho Takagi of Japan (37.12 seconds), and Angrina Golikova of the Russian Olympic Committee (37.21 seconds).
