A series of "bizarre experiments" by American anthropologists on women who have lost their feet in the last century

Many times, our common sense can be wrong. For example, there is a general consensus that female sex workers are forced to run out of women.

however

In the last century, many American anthropologists have done a series of "strange experiments" in order to fully understand the knowledge of human sexuality, and the results are surprising.

In 1966, Masters, a pioneer in American anthropology, and Johnson jointly published the book Human Sexual Response. As soon as the book was published, it shook the entire biological and anthropological community at that time, and subsequently, "Human Sexual Response" became the pinnacle of biology.

As early as 1930, Masters showed a keen interest in "sex", and he was determined to figure out what sexual behavior in the human world represented, but was met with layers of resistance.

Because at that time, sex was a topic that could not be discussed openly.

Masters traveled to major libraries to study human sexuality, but if he wanted to inquire about "sex", he had to report it layer by layer and approve it before he could consult it.

It also strengthens Masters' determination to study human sexuality. Knowledge related to "sex" involves the continuation and development of the entire human society and human race, which is a very valuable research topic.

Masters believes that only he can have enough courage to break through the world's vision, and only he can unveil the mystery of "sex" to the public.

Indeed, between 1940 and 1950, Masters made a decision that surprised everyone by going deep into the lives of sex workers and using them as a breakthrough to study human sexuality.

Until 1957, Masters studied 118 female sex workers as well as 23 male sex workers. After a series of studies, Masters learned that many sex workers are not engaged in this business to make money, but more to meet their sexual needs.

(Obviously, this conclusion is a bit different from common sense and surprising)

(Of course, this is just the personal findings of these two scientists.) The purpose of sex workers' work, which may still be different in Eastern societies, is a sociological issue. )

In the course of continuous research, Masters met his partner, Johnson, and the two began to record and summarize experimental data by observing sexual behavior.

Through the joint efforts of the two, a lot of theoretical knowledge about human sexuality has been derived. And published a large number of related academic papers, the publication of these papers shocked the academic community at that time, but also brought a great impact to the public.
