Community residents and parent-child families participate in it to welcome the festival together.
Guess the riddles, taste the tangyuan, watch the flower lanterns... All are traditional festivals of the Lantern Festival. In the guessing of lantern riddles, parent-child families "use their brains" together to enjoy the festival culture. Subsequently, under the guidance of the volunteer aunts, the adults and children participating in the activity experienced the fun of wrapping tangyuan. Everyone was rubbing their fists, eager to try, rolling up their sleeves, and busy. Kneading dough, kneading tangyuan, setting tangyuan... After a while, the white and fat tangyuan will be ready.
The most interesting part of the scene is to make the rabbit lamp by hand. As an ancient traditional Chinese handicraft, the flower lantern symbolizes auspiciousness and beauty. In the hearts of many elderly people, the cute rabbit lamp is the most beautiful gift during the Childhood Lantern Festival. On that day, accompanied by volunteers and parents of the Good Neighbor Center, the children fixed the wires one by one, and then gently pasted a layer of white paper as thin as a cicada's wings, pasted the pink rabbit ears, and then pasted the cut "rabbit hair" on it... Finished with a funny and cute bunny lamp.
The wonderful and rich activities not only add to the festive atmosphere, but also make the parents more intimate in the interaction, and also let the residents find the joy of childhood.
