Suns point guard Chris Paul scored 11 points and 10 assists in the first half of today's game against the Lakers, reaching a career total of 20,004 points, becoming the 47th player in history to break the 20,000-point milestone.

This, combined with Paul,000 assists, makes him the first player in history to have 20,000 points + 10,000 assists.

LeBron James is also currently approaching the threshold of 10,000 assists, and he has accumulated 9,701 assists before today's game, hoping to become the first player in history to score 30,000 points + 10,000 assists.

Chris Paul (born May 6, 1985 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina) is a point guard who currently plays for the NBA Phoenix Suns. Paul is known for his superb ball control and unexpected passing, and is known as CP3 by fans. He was selected by the New Orleans Hornets with the 4th pick in the first round of the 2005 NBA Draft, and was named NBA Rookie of the Year during his rookie season.
