Lin Peicheng, who was born in a family of Communist Party members, told him from an early age: "We must study well, listen to the party, follow the party, strive to join the party at an early date, become a qualified party member, and strive to contribute our due strength to the party, the country and the people."
A different kind of youth of the border police
In August 2011, with the dream of youth and the expectations of his parents, Lin Peicheng took the university admission letter from Guangdong to the Jiangxi Judicial Police Officer Vocational College to report, and has been with the police badge ever since.
In June 2013, the school squadron leader publicized the first season of 2013's fall military recruitment policy in the team, and learned that juniors could retain their student status to join the army, and Lin Peicheng did not hesitate to choose to sign up for the army.
After strict physical examination, academic qualifications, political assessment, and selection and appointment of soldiers, Lin Peicheng successfully passed the conditions for conscription. Dressed in a brand-new military uniform and wearing dazzling red flowers, Lin Peicheng embarked on the road to the military from the school.
After the new training, Lin Peicheng was assigned to the Lincang Border Defense Detachment of the Yunnan Border Defense Corps. On March 1, 2015, a 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck Lincang City, Yunnan Province, and Lin Peicheng and his comrades-in-arms set up relief tents for six natural villages, including Xiaba Village, Rolling Nai Village, Mangrove Forest Village, and Mangpao Village, Mengding Town, Gengma County, where they were stationed, carried relief materials, cleaned up collapsed walls, relocated more than 200 victims, and rescued 2 lightly injured victims.
"There are dreams, there are opportunities, there are struggles, and all good things can be created." Lin Peicheng has always had a "military school dream", after two examinations, kung fu pays off, in September 2016 Lin Peicheng was admitted to the Public Security Border Defense Force College, realized his youth dream, it is the original intention, in order to successfully realize the dream.
During his time at the military academy, Lin Peicheng always kept in mind the oath of Zheng Zheng when he joined the army, and wrote his youth song with courage and perseverance and outstanding achievements. In July 2017, according to the school internship work arrangement, Lin Peicheng was assigned to a checkpoint of the Yunnan Border Defense Corps for internship, the station is located in the duty station needs to check thousands of vehicles every day, is a must for drug traffickers, coupled with the hot weather in the station, heavy humidity, many mosquitoes, the most common is the "small black worm" is toxic, after being bitten will continue to itch for a long time, there are more than a dozen or twenty bags on the legs are common. In the face of the arduous duty environment and the heavy border defense duty task, Lin Peicheng did not flinch, and took the initiative to join the border blocking group, the border blocking card is a very dangerous anti-drug arrest work, night duty, crouching in the woods to carry out tasks... In just two months of internship time, Lin Peicheng seized 2 drug cases, seized 5.860 kilograms of drugs, arrested 1 criminal suspect and 16 smugglers, and Lin Peicheng was also honored by the school for his personal third-class merit once, becoming the only student in the whole school to make meritorious contributions in this internship.
The change of military hostages will not change the heart of the country
On December 25, 2018, the public security active duty troops collectively retired from active service. In January 2019, Lin Peicheng's Public Security Border Defense Force College was changed to Chinese Civilian Police University (Guangzhou Campus).
"For a few people, there should be very few people who can read two police academies and one military academy in their youth, and I am a very lucky one, maybe this is the indissoluble relationship between me and the word 'police.'" Lin Peicheng said.
In July 2019, as one of the first post-reform command graduates, Lin Peicheng was assigned to work in the Jinshui River Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station on the Sino-Vietnamese border.
What cannot be changed is the police uniform, what cannot be changed is loyalty; what changes is the color of the uniform, and what remains unchanged is the mission purpose. Lin Peicheng insisted on doing one line, loving one line, drilling one line, and refining one line, worked hard to learn the knowledge of border inspection business, successfully passed the inspector primary examination and the basic level law enforcement qualification examination, embarked on a three-foot verification platform, took on the heavy responsibility of inspecting and releasing entry and exit personnel, and turned a new page in the police career.
In January 2020, a sudden new crown pneumonia epidemic broke the happy and peaceful atmosphere of the Spring Festival, in the face of the sudden epidemic, the national port as the first line of defense, the first pass, the first battlefield to prevent the import of overseas epidemics, Lin Peicheng, under the call of the party organization, took the initiative to give up the opportunity to go home during the Spring Festival holiday to visit his critically ill grandmother, submitted the "letter of determination" and "letter of request" at the first time, joined the "duty team epidemic prevention and control vanguard", and joined the forefront of the "epidemic".
On this battlefield without the smoke of gunfire, Lin Peicheng and all the police officers worked with one heart and one mind to live up to Shaohua and build a strong fortress to guard the gates of the country. Just when Lin Peicheng and his colleagues were united in their determination to fight the epidemic, the news of his grandmother's serious illness came from his hometown far away, as the eldest grandson of the family, Lin Peicheng hid all his grief and silently chose to stick to his post until his grandmother died a few days later, and he did not even see the last side of his grandmother. Whenever he thinks about it, he always says with guilt, "I owe too much to my family, and I can't measure it."
In the 10 years since he left home, the time spent with his family is countless, but he always comforts himself: "Since ancient times, loyalty and filial piety are in dilemma, and there are many comrades-in-arms like me, stationed on the frontier, silently dedicated, only to turn the debt to the family into a driving force to work hard, with the safety of the country to return the family's expectations."

In October 2021, in order to cope with the complex epidemic prevention and control situation, the port duty team adopted a closed-loop management model of "separation of people and goods, segmented transportation, and closed management" in accordance with the requirements. Lin Peicheng as the first batch of closed-loop management personnel, take the initiative to apply to the entry post to carry out passenger inspection and release work, the closed-loop management is in the first stage of COP15 security, in the process of checking entry and exit personnel, in accordance with the requirements to take the "one certificate, one elimination" inspection method, to minimize the contact between personnel, people and goods.
The average daytime temperature of Jinshui River Port in October is still 30 ° C, the hot sun bakes the earth, the humid and hot air rises, every afternoon the protective clothing is worn for 3 hours, can not drink water, can not go to the toilet, until the last employee was checked, Lin Peicheng found that his mouth has been dry and cracked, by the protective clothing and protective eye masks to get a headache, the police uniform inside the protective clothing has long been soaked... Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Lin Peicheng and his comrades-in-arms have been fighting in front-line border defense posts for more than 700 days and nights.
Since joining the work, Lin Peicheng has participated in more than ten major tasks, and won the "third class merit" once, the "commendation" three times, the "excellent soldier" twice, the "excellent policeman" twice, and the annual assessment of civil servants once.
