Human Tree: Eucalyptus
"The Tree of People", when I first started to watch, I felt very plain, and I introduced it unhurriedly, as if I was talking about a lot of things in life and a lot of people, so I always looked at it and stopped to read other books. Until I saw half of it, I felt that this book had a look, so I took the time to read it.
The author, Patrick White, an Australian writer who won the Nobel Prize in 1973, is his famous work, such as "Valley of Happiness", "Life and Death", "Storm Shadow" and so on.

"The Human Tree" begins with Stan Parker as the center, and begins by cutting down eucalyptus trees, thus recounting the story of Stan's childhood, leaving home after becoming an orphan, meeting Amy, they married and had children, and they started a family until their deaths. Their family went from a pioneer with nothing to a city dweller, and after floods, fires, and droughts, their lives changed.
He and his wife, Amy, have been happy together, but more often than not, they don't understand each other. Stan is an orphan, a woodlander, a farmer, a man on the edge of the city, and these changes have never changed the honesty, hard work, loneliness of an ordinary person, and groping to explore the realm of life. Amy, loves to talk, loves to think about things, is not willing to be lonely, but has always been lonely, wants to understand her husband, but has not understood.
