Recently, Ningxia Jinteng Trading Co., Ltd. complained to the Central Second Environmental Protection Supervision Group, saying that Ningxia Huifengyuan Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. in Helan County, Yinchuan City, piled up a large amount of cow dung next to its wall, and did not take preventive measures to discharge the sewage from the cleaning of the barn into the planting area of Ningxia Jinteng Trading Co., Ltd. across the wall, resulting in the death of a large number of fruit trees and polluting the surrounding environment.
Walking into the planting area of Ningxia Jinteng Trading Co., Ltd., Zhang Jianyong, the orchard administrator, took us to a wasteland near Ningxia HSBC Source Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd., where saplings more than one meter high have withered, and nearly 300 acres of land are almost grassless.
He told reporters that heavy rain mixed with cow dung, a large amount of sewage in the pasture was discharged to the planting area separated by a wall, which would cause some fruit saplings to be burned to death every year. Especially in 2016, due to rain and a large amount of cow dung that was not cleaned up in time, it directly washed away the wall, and the cow dung spilled directly into the company's peach orchard.

By 2017, it was still raining, and after the sewage came from their north wall roots, the whole peach tree near our north side was completely drowned, and about 300 trees died.
Master Zhang told reporters that in addition to the overflow of cow dung pollution, every morning and evening the pasture crushed straw, the dust in the sky not only polluted the environment, but also seriously affected the growth and quality of grapes. In the place near the pasture forage crushing workshop, the reporter saw that the yellow crushed grass was laid with a thick layer, and the hand turned over more than ten centimeters thick to see the soil.

In response to the problems reflected by Ningxia Jinteng Trading Co., Ltd., the reporter came to Ningxia HSBC Source Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd., which is separated from it by a wall. The northeast corner of the ranch is a hardened manure dump, without any rain protection facilities, and although there is no pile of manure, it still stinks.
According to the staff of the enterprise, after receiving the transfer of the central environmental protection inspection team, part of the cow manure generated every day was entered into the newly built organic fertilizer production workshop, and some of it was all cleared and processed. In response to the complaints of neighboring enterprises in recent years, the company has been actively dealing with them.

We made rainwater leakage at the lowest point of the entire yard area of our barn, anti-leakage drainage trough, and then hardened our manure yard to prevent leakage, and built an organic fertilizer production workshop.
On the afternoon of June 9, the Animal Husbandry Station of the Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Bureau of Helan County received the transfer of the second environmental protection inspection team of the Central Committee and rushed to the junction of the two enterprises for verification and processing.
The director of the animal husbandry station of the Helan County Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Bureau was pleased: At the junction of the two families, all the inspections were carried out, and no sewage outlets were found, and no places of seepage were found. Because this field was complained about in 2016, we increased the intensity of supervision and also required enterprises to do a good job in fecal sewage treatment facilities and equipment.
During the inspection, the animal husbandry station of the Helan County Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Bureau also found that although the pasture dump had been built, no rain shelter had been built, and the manure of the breeding cattle sports field in the field area was scattered.
At present, the animal husbandry station of the Helan County Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Bureau requires enterprises to build a roof above the pile manure field and the breeding cattle sports field, and to do a rainwater drainage system to reduce the contact between rainwater and cow dung to produce sewage; in view of the problem of many mosquitoes and flies in the manure field and a large odor, it is required to increase the anti-mosquito and anti-odor treatment work in the manure field; in view of the pollution generated when the hay is crushed, the enterprise is required to close the operation or take dust reduction measures.
