At tonight's concert, Jiang Feng and Yan Jinlong, young performers of the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra, showed the audience the rich expressiveness and various possibilities of The Symphony Orchestra. A song "Kikujiro's Summer" adapts the original small and fresh Hisaishi style to be blazing hot, bringing the audience a fiery midsummer atmosphere in the cold cold wind; the Western style of "Sunrise In the East", the Tango style Cuban song "Pigeon", the pale tone pipe playing the European and American pop song "Bruno Mars Golden Song Skewer"... In the hands of young performers, ancient Chinese musical instruments are like unrestrained prodigal sons who travel the world, subverting the audience's understanding of folk music.
Hosted by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Shanghai Huangpu District Committee and the Shanghai Grand Theatre Art Center, and co-organized by the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra and sinan Mansion, the Sinan Appreciation Art Festival shared with the audience eight audio-visual feasts on the cross-border of traditional Chinese culture and art - integrating art performances, expert tours, and on-site interaction, looking at the world from the national perspective and listening to art.
With "dynamic" as the core, the first thematic event based on percussion was held at sinan mansion on October 9. Wang Yong, Dean of the School of Music of Shanghai University, and young performers such as dancer Huang Doudou and Wang Yinrui, principal percussionist of the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra, switch freely between different nationalities and different countries in their respective art forms, showing the colorful charm of the percussion kingdom.
In the theme activity of "Erhu Adventure", Ma Xiaohui, the orchestra's erhu soloist, Cui Song, chief physician of Shanghai Shuguang Hospital, Tim Kelly, professor of music physiotherapy, and chen Gongqi, guitarist, brought an adventure between folk music and traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and carried out a dialogue between "Ledao" and "Medical Tao" in the form of music and dialogue, and experienced the profound and extensive connection between music and humanities.
Music takes "harmony" as the beauty, as the most important essence of traditional Chinese music aesthetics, the many activities of this Sinan Appreciation Festival, whether from the combination of musical instruments or the combination of Chinese and Western music, all of them fully interpret the mystery of "harmony". In the theme activity of "One Past "Qin" and "Sheng"", Zhao Zhen, a sheng player of the orchestra, together with accordionist Sun Mengya, and Jin Chengzhi, artistic director of the Rainbow Chamber Choir, jointly presented the similarities and differences between Eastern and Western harmonic instruments, and discussed the beauty of "harmony" of musical art; telling the "Extreme "Flute" Wind of Thousands of Emotions in the World" and forming a strong resonance with the audience with the flute sounds of different regions, and the guiding guest Yao Shenshen introduced the bone flute, the flute and the flute to the audience in the form of dialogue, in the form of dialogue.
