With the end of the Spring Festival holiday, customers in the rubber tire industry have also resumed work. Recently, the relevant agencies investigated the resumption of work of 92 tire factories across the country (including 50 all-steel tire factories and 42 semi-steel tire factories).

Judging from the survey results, the current resumption time of tire companies in the country is mainly concentrated in the two time periods as early as February 8 and later than February 20. The number of enterprises that resumed work as early as February 8 was close to 50%, and the proportion of production capacity exceeded 50%.

From the perspective of the resumption of work of products, the resumption of work of semi-steel tires is slightly better than that of all-steel tires, and the resumption time of Shandong tire enterprises is later than that of other regions.

As of February 7, the resumption of work in non-Shandong regions has performed well, with the number of non-Shandong factories resuming work earlier than February 8 accounting for more than 60%.

The resumption of work in Shandong is not optimistic, the number of factories in Shandong that resumed work earlier than February 8 accounted for only 20%-30%, the production capacity accounted for slightly more than 30%, and most tire factories in Shandong may generally resume work later than February 20.

In the Spring Festival suspension of production in 2022, the suspension time of all-steel tire enterprises exceeded that of semi-steel tire enterprises by about 3.5 days, and the suspension time of all-steel tires in Shandong was significantly more than that of semi-steel tires, with an average of 4.6 days more than the suspension of production.
