Why write? I don't write about sports when I write about the Olympics.

The 2008 Olympics gave me the feeling of opening the door between China and the world. I had the opportunity to attend more than two hundred press conferences with foreign journalists. Do you know what foreign journalists asked in 2008? How many times a year do you eat meat in China? I said do you still have to ask us if we have electric lights. I was interviewing in Shougang, when an American reporter asked me, Shougang relocated for the Olympic Games, don't you think that the tea you drink has the taste of steel? In the face of these intricate problems, I can't argue with him, I can only use a very euphemistic form, and finally use wisdom.

One of the biggest significances of the 2008 Olympics was not that we won 51 gold medals, but that we opened the door for the world to re-understand China, which is a real feeling for me.

When I write about the Winter Olympics this time, I am most concerned about the joint hosting of the Winter Olympics in the Beijing-Zhang region, the promotion of the integration of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and the promotion of the people's poverty alleviation and prosperity. I went to Heilongjiang, a strong province of ice and snow sports, not to write good people and good deeds, I was thinking that ice and snow sports not only have beautiful scenery to Heilongjiang, but also a variety of sports resources, and the long winter and ice and snow everywhere are no longer a solemn killing, but a huge enthusiasm. That's the benefit of the economy.

You have to give the reader a bucket of water, and as a writer you have to have a bucket of water. To write this book, I traveled to eight countries around the world and interviewed two generations of Samaranch, the elder Samaranch and the younger Samaranch. And I also interviewed former Spanish Prime Minister Pasatro. From senior IOC officials to the most ordinary farmers, I have gone to interviews, and I really have a lot of things to write.

In the 2008 Olympic Games, the Chinese Writers Association had a Chinese writers network, and asked me to open a column called "Jingyan Says the Olympics Every Day". I thought the Olympics were going to be held for 16 days, and I said every day, where are there so many words to say? They say that the columns are all opened, so you can get them. As soon as I wanted to complete the task, I first wrote three comments to the editor-in-chief of the China Writers Network. I mean leisurely, one article a day, and I didn't expect them to get all three of them in one day, which made me anxious. What I didn't expect was that for those 16 days, I wrote more than 50 articles every day according to the Olympic situation that happened. When your mind keeps spinning, you must have entered quickly, so I always think that reportage writers should have eagle eyes, dog noses, horse legs and feet, and you have been excited about everything in the process.

I really have absolute confidence in the performance of the Chinese team in this Winter Olympics. Because it's so important to be familiar with the venue. Let me give you an example, our bobsleigh track was built for the first time in China. Every bobsleigh track is different, we have a 360-degree slalom here, and further down, only Chinese athletes have been training. Because this venue is not completely closed, it is impossible to be ice in the summer. We make an igloo, this igloo is in Yanqing, where athletes practice. The bobsleigh rider slipped, stitched a lot of stitches, bandaged it and continued training. Before the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, Gao Tingyu's training performance was the seventh place in the world, but we used some new means to help him from science and technology, and he took the 3rd place at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, why did he quickly mention the 3rd place from the 7th place? A very important point is the scientific training method, which is the guarantee of our sports performance.

Previously we started low. When Ye Qiaobo went to the game that year, he was going to play the next day, and at four o'clock in the afternoon, his skate shoes were broken, and he didn't know what to do. Buy one, right? No, athletes with new skate shoes are certainly not familiar, absolutely not. Later, he said that he would quickly find a repair shop to repair it. The people of the General Administration of Sports led her to the auto repair factory and said to the Master of the Korean Car Repairer that you can help us see, I will only repair the car in South Korea, not the skates. Ye Qiaobo said you bring me a welding plate and weld it yourself. So she welded herself with her sense of ice knife, her feeling of ice, and she went on the field in her old skate shoes to get a medal, and then she went to the game. That's why we started very low. But now that we have been equipped over the years, science and technology, ecology, environmental protection, sustainable and low-carbon guarantees are the focus of this time, and I am really looking forward to it, our athletes will be brilliant.
