Designer conscience discovery! 9.2 Changes in the prestige of Zaretis

That makes a good point. Players shouldn't feel like they need to play every day, and the incentives shouldn't make players feel like they're losing the fun of playing. So, yes, we've heard community concerns about an overabundance of rarity. When rare items account for the vast majority of the total prestige reward you can get in a day, there's a sense of burden of having to work on them. Too many rare items will turn gaining prestige each day into a time-consuming process, rather than something you can set goals for and complete (or basically complete) in a reasonable playtime. We want rare prestige medals to feel like a reward rather than a burden, so the prestige gained from each rare prestige medal is reduced from 15 or 30 to 10 or 15.

Since we don't want to reduce the total prestige gained by players because of this change, we are adding prestige from other sources to compensate: world missions will reward 125 instead of 100; world boss Anteros will reward 500 instead of 250; and twice-weekly quests "Law in the Law" will reward 500 instead of 250. The effect of this is that the potential average daily prestige gain will increase slightly, while rare items will account for a lower percentage of these gains. This will make players feel like they can end the day's mission earlier without spending a lot of time and effort, while still allowing players who want to work harder to liver.

Players who feel the need to reach reverence in Week 5 and receive legendary memories immediately after chapter 7 ends should now be at ease. Even without killing a rarity, reaching the corresponding prestige level in that time period should be easily achievable.
