According to CCTV news, in the men's 15 km (traditional technique) of cross-country skiing at the Beijing Winter Olympics, Finland's Ivo Niskanen won the gold medal in 37 minutes 54.8 seconds. Russian Olympic team Alexander Bolisshunov and Norway's Johannes Hesfroth Klebo finished second and third respectively.

The Chinese players successfully completed the competition, with the results of Shang Jincai 41st, Liu Rongsheng 47th, Hades Badri Khan 57th, and Tsering Zhandui 63rd.
