Apply for a claim of 160,000 yuan "Refuel Mulan" public welfare project to add protection to the women who have been lifted out of poverty in Foping

"Thank you for the 'Refueling Mulan' public welfare project you applied for for me, this 20,000 yuan compensation is really to solve our current urgent need for medical treatment!" The patient's family excitedly shook the hand of the staff of the Foping County Medical Insurance Bureau in Hanzhong City. As of the beginning of February 2022, a total of 8 female cancer patients who meet the protection of the "Refueling Mulan" public welfare project have been screened out and applied for a claim of 160,000 yuan.

In 2021, in order to actively respond to the national "14th Five-Year Plan" development plan, focusing on consolidating the results of poverty alleviation and effectively connecting with rural revitalization, under the liaison and coordination of the Central Cyberspace Administration of the Designated Support Unit, in mid-November 2021, the "Refueling Mulan" women's public welfare insurance project launched by the China Women's Development Foundation landed in Foping, insuring 3,336 female poverty alleviation population in Foping County for 223,500 yuan, adding another important guarantee to it.

The project mainly provides education and medical protection for women who have been lifted out of poverty by purchasing public welfare insurance for them, so as to reduce their burden of schooling and medical expenses, and help improve the education and medical security level of the female population in poor areas. During the implementation year, the "Refuel Mulan" women's public welfare insurance project can apply for an education fee guarantee of 500 yuan per semester for poverty alleviation female students enrolled in high schools, vocational high schools and technical schools; for women who have been diagnosed with malignant tumors for the first time, they can apply for a one-time medical expense compensation of 20,000 yuan.

In order to implement this people's livelihood project, the Foping County Medical Security Bureau conscientiously did a good job in online training, comprehensively checked the disease information of women who had been lifted out of poverty, and determined special personnel to help the insured declare claims, so as to strive for poor women to be insured and indemnified.
