The prince was almost deceived, and finally found out in time, fought against the demon, and killed him. The White Swan returns to her princess form and unites with the prince for a happy ending.

When the prince realized that he had been deceived, he immediately ran to the shore of Swan Lake, and he finally defeated the magic with firm and loyal love. With a loud bang, the demon is destroyed and Ogetta and his girlfriend revert to human form. Ojeta and the prince finally won happiness. The dance music consists of twenty-nine minutes.

By the time Tchaikovsky wrote Swan Lake, he was already a professional composer: by then he had written three symphonies and three operas, one of which was Eugene Onegin.

In 1875 the manager of the Moscow Theater commissioned Tchaikovsky to write a ballet for 800 rubles. Tchaikovsky began writing in August 1875 and remained so until his completion on April 10, 1876. Until the composer took two pieces out of his own opera and added them, Swan Lake was a completely new work.
