Beijing, 10 Feb (China Youth Daily) -- In response to the Lithuanian foreign minister's call during his visit to Australia for "the world to jointly deal with the violations of human rights between China and Russia," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian responded at a regular news conference today that what Lithuania should do is to face up to objective facts, correct its own mistakes, and return to the correct track of adhering to the "one-China" principle, rather than confusing right and wrong, maliciously speculating, and still less co-opting other countries to unite against China.
Zhao Lijian stressed that Lithuania should first reflect on its own human rights abuses and correct its wrong practices of discrimination against ethnic minorities, deliberate abuse and abuse of violence, violent torture and ill-treatment of refugees.
