In order to enhance the understanding of community residents on garbage classification knowledge and let more residents participate in the action of garbage classification, on February 10, the New City Garbage Classification Work Guidance Center organized staff and community property companies to carry out garbage classification theme publicity activities in the Unity Community.
At the event, volunteers distributed garbage classification publicity materials to residents, explaining on the spot how to identify what categories of common garbage belong to, how to sort garbage step by step, and how to deal with garbage classification after classification. In addition, the community staff also intimately prepared small gifts such as paper drawers, aprons, paper cups, garbage bags, etc., and carried out the "garbage classification knowledge" interesting prize quiz activity on the spot, stimulating the enthusiasm of residents to participate in garbage classification practice, and enhancing the awareness of the masses' main responsibility for saving resources and caring for the environment.
Through on-site publicity and guidance, this activity guided participants to establish a sense of ownership of "garbage classification, starting from me", which effectively improved the quality of community domestic garbage classification.
