Mutual assistance pension is to let the elderly in the same village take care of each other, which is in line with the reality of rural areas, has strong operability and good sustainability. In my own case, in order to take care of my mother who lives alone, I hired my cousin in the same living area to take care of it, and I paid my cousin 1,000 yuan per month. My cousin was in better health and was happy to take care of my mother.

Some elderly and frail elderly people have difficult families and are unable to pay for care alone. This requires the support of the government and social forces, which can give these elderly "care subsidies" to reduce their burden. It is also possible to set up a special "rural mutual aid pension care subsidy", which is directly hit to the farmer's social security card like a land subsidy.
