The original dance drama "Cavalry" produced by Inner Mongolia Art Theater was staged at Shenzhen Poly Theater on September 28 and 29. It is understood that the dance drama has just won the "Art Performance Award" of the Sixth National Ethnic Minority Literary and Art Association Performance Dream Award, and this performance in Shenzhen has also opened another round of national tour of "Cavalry".

"Cavalry" is the first large-scale original dance drama with cavalry as the theme in the history of Chinese stage art, and the work has shaped the story of a large number of Mongolian youth represented by Chao lu from simple steppe riders to Chinese cavalry heroes of the People's Liberation Army with lofty ideals. It is a work that reflects the turning point in history, where personal ideals are closely linked to the destiny of the country. The works cover the beauty of the friendship between man and horse, the beauty of human nature, and express the vision of harmony and human peace for all things.
It is understood that the dance drama "Cavalry" has held six expert seminars so far, and since the completion of the creation, it has performed more than 50 times in Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuxi and other places, and after each performance, the main creative team will further modify and improve, often performing.
In the process of watching the performance, many viewers were moved to tears by the plot of the play. Shenzhen audience member Wang Qiaoling deliberately brought her child to see, she said: "Although I have seen many dance dramas before, this is the first time I have been moved to cry. Originally worried that the child could not devote himself to watching the dance drama, he did not expect to concentrate on the whole process, which is the charm of a good work. The audience member, Ms. Zhao, is a Chinese language teacher, and she said that she had learned about the history of the Inner Mongolia People's Cavalry before, and the interpretation of the dance drama was a very good teaching material, which she would also share with her students.
After the performance, the audience waiting for the signature of the lead actor lined up in the hall of the Poly Theater. Bayinda, an actor who plays the war horse "Gala", said that everywhere "Cavalry" goes, it has a strong emotional resonance with the audience, and the audience's applause and recognition is the biggest praise for the actor. It is reported that after this performance, the dance drama "Cavalry" will also go to Chengdu, Wuhan, Huai'an, Dalian, Baoding, Kunshan and other places to tour.
