At the age of 54, Master Li Jing, a director of the Buddhist Association of China, died at Fayuan Temple in Beijing

The Surging News reporter learned from the Buddhist College of China that the member of the 8th, 9th and 10th Councils of the Buddhist Association of China, a member of the Buddhist Education Committee of the 10th Council of the Buddhist Association of China, and an associate professor of the Buddhist College of China, Master Li Jing, died peacefully at the age of 54 at the Fayuan Temple in Beijing on the morning of February 8, 2022 (the eighth day of the first month of the first month of the year of Nongyin).

Public information shows that Master Li Jing is a native of Weiyuan, Gansu. Born in 1968, he was ordained in 1986 and ordained in 1987. He studied at The Qixiashan Buddhist College in Nanjing in 1988, and was admitted to the undergraduate class of the Buddhist College of China after graduating in 1990, and the postgraduate class of the Buddhist College of China after graduating in 1994. After graduating from graduate school in 1997, he worked in the Academic Affairs Office of the Buddhist College of China as a lecturer. In 2010, he was elected to the Council of the Buddhist Association of China. Since 2014, he has been studying for the first Doctor of Buddhism at the Buddhist College of China, and has passed the thesis defense. In 2015, he was rated as an associate professor at the Buddhist College of China.

His main Buddhist treatises include: "The Judgment of the Three Treatises", "Master Jizang, the Great Master of the Three Treatises", "The Difference between the Middle Way and the Wisdom of The Dust", "The Peerage of the Three Treatises on the Wisdom of the Three Treatises", and "The Breaking of emptiness in the Middle View", which have been published in Buddhist magazines at home and abroad.
