The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that following the obvious rain and snow weather process in the southern region of the mainland and the eastern part of the northwest region from February 5 to 7, a new round of large-scale rain and snow weather process from the 11th to the 13th will affect most of the mainland from west to east, and this process has the characteristics of a wide range of snowfall and a large cumulative snowfall in some areas.

There is light to moderate snow or sleet in northern Xinjiang, central and eastern Parts of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, eastern Northwest China, central and eastern Inner Mongolia, most of North China, and most of Northeast China, among which there is heavy snowfall and local blizzard in Beijing, Tianjin, north-central Hebei, northern Shanxi, south-central Inner Mongolia and the Ili River Valley in Xinjiang; the cumulative snowfall is 4 to 8 mm, and the local area can reach 10 to 15 mm; the new snow depth is 5 to 10 cm, and the local area can reach 12 to 16 cm.
There is sleet in the north-central part of Guizhou and western Hunan, and there is local freezing rain, and there is heavy snow in high-altitude mountainous areas; there is moderate to heavy rain in Jiangnan, southern China and southern Guizhou, and there is heavy rain (50 to 80 mm) in northern Guangxi and other places.

Main precipitation periods:
The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the eastern part of the Northwest Region, and the northern part of the Northeast Region are mainly during the day on the 11th and 12th;
Central and eastern Inner Mongolia, north China, the southern part of northeast China, Jiangnan, South China and other places are from 12 to 13 days.
In addition, it is expected that from the 14th to the 15th, there will still be light snow in the central and eastern parts of Inner Mongolia, north China, northeast China and other places, and local snow.
From the 17th to the 18th, there will be a wide range of rain and snow weather processes in the central and eastern parts of the mainland from west to east.
