In 2021, the competent departments of natural resources at all levels will continue to adhere to the principle of "early detection, early stop, and strict investigation and punishment", promptly discover the trend of stopping illegal use of sea islands, hand over suspected illegal cases, and resolutely eliminate the illegal use of sea islands in the bud. There is no large-scale illegal use of sea islands nationwide, and 19 suspected illegal reclamations have been discovered and stopped throughout the year, involving a sea area of about 10.25 hectares; 98 suspected illegal structures have been found and stopped, involving a sea area of about 29.86 hectares; and 22 suspected illegal use of islands with an area of about 5.47 hectares have been discovered and stopped. At present, they have all been handed over to the relevant law enforcement organs for investigation and punishment in accordance with law.
Among them, in the fourth quarter, 4 suspected illegal reclamation sites were found and stopped, involving an area of about 1.83 hectares. Among them, 1 in Zhejiang Province, involving a sea area of about 0.39 hectares, 1 in Fujian Province, involving a sea area of about 0.27 hectares, 1 in Guangdong Province, involving a sea area of about 0.12 hectares, and 1 in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, involving a sea area of about 1.05 hectares. 19 sea-crossing bridges, wharves, and other suspected illegal structures were found and stopped, involving an area of about 5.75 hectares. Among them, 3 in Liaoning Province, involving a sea area of about 0.75 hectares; 1 in Tianjin City, involving a sea area of about 0.30 hectares; 2 in Shandong Province, involving a sea area of about 1.96 hectares; 2 in Zhejiang Province, involving a sea area of about 0.06 hectares; 4 in Fujian Province, involving a sea area of about 0.58 hectares; 6 in Guangdong Province, involving a sea area of about 1.97 hectares; and 1 in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, involving a sea area of about 0.13 hectares. 11 suspected illegal use of the island were discovered and stopped, covering an area of about 1.96 hectares. Among them, there are 3 places in Zhejiang Province with an area of about 0.02 hectares, 1 place in Fujian Province with an area of about 0.01 hectares, 3 places in Guangdong Province with an area of about 1.44 hectares, 2 places in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region with an area of about 0.16 hectares, and 2 places in Hainan Province with an area of about 0.33 hectares.
