Throughout the six months, Messi has made 19 appearances in all competitions, contributed 7 goals and 7 assists, and participated in 14 goals, which is actually very efficient, especially in assists. In Ligue 1, he made 13 appearances and scored only 2 goals, which is indeed inconsistent with superstar status.
