On the 10th, the Hubei Trade Union Network released the "Announcement on the Special Awarding of the Hubei May Day Labor Award in the 2021 Provincial Labor Competition". The public announcement pointed out that according to the work arrangements of the province's labor competition activities, after the trade unions at all levels from the bottom up, step by step, merit-based recommendation, strict review, the Hubei Provincial Federation of Trade Unions intends to award the Hubei May Day Labor Award to a group of outstanding collectives and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the province's labor competition in 2021. The list includes 10 Hubei May Day Labor Awards, 20 Hubei May Day Labor Medals, and 30 Hubei Provincial Worker Pioneers.
Among them, half of the collectives that won the Hubei May Day Labor Award were from Wuhan. They are Wuhan Bishui Group Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. Passenger Car Company, China Construction Third Bureau Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., China Power Construction Group Hubei Engineering Co., Ltd., and Hubei Jiaotong Investment Construction Group Co., Ltd.
In addition, 12 people in Wuhan won the Hubei May Day Labor Medal, and 12 collectives from Wuhan were awarded the Hubei Provincial Workers' Pioneer.
