On January 31, Chinese New Year's Eve, her two children went to the Lee Jen Grand Canyon with their nephew, who had graduated from college, and accidentally found a giant salamander stuck in the culvert of the creek reservoir. At that time, the giant salamander's body was very tight, constantly struggling in the opposite direction, the wound was bleeding unceasingly, and the surrounding water was stained red.
"The children took pictures of this scene and posted it in the family group, and as soon as we saw that this was a nationally protected animal baby fish, my husband Chen Xuewen immediately took the equipment up the mountain to rescue." Yang Huijing introduced that at that time, the temperature in the mountains was very low, and the family carefully rescued it, and it took more than 2 hours to rescue the wild salamander ashore, and seeing that it was seriously injured, they decided to take it home first.
After returning home, the children searched online and found that they could call the local forestry department for help, so they dialed the wugang forestry bureau. The Municipal Forestry Bureau immediately arranged for the staff of the Wildlife Protection Unit to come to the door to check the injuries of the giant salamander and treat the wounds. Afterwards, the staff considered that the wild giant salamander was seriously injured and inconvenient to take away, and decided to let Yang Huijing's family take care of it on its behalf. At present, after 8 days of careful care, the wound of the giant salamander has basically healed. In accordance with the regulations on the protection of wild animals, the relevant departments will release it in the original place of discovery.
