Only half a month after the release of the new generation toyota Sequoia with a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine, its competitor, nissan Armada (US version of Tule), also announced that it would be equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine on the next generation.

According to Nissan Armada's product plan, its next-generation model will be launched by the end of 2023, and the new generation will no longer use the 5.6L V8 naturally aspirated engine currently modeled VK56VD, but will be replaced by a 3.5L V6 twin-turbo engine. The new engine will not lose to the VK56VD in terms of power data, but its fuel efficiency will be significantly better than that of the V8 naturally aspirated engine.

For reference, the current Armada equipped with a 5.6L V8 naturally aspirated engine has a maximum output of 298kW (405 hp) / 5800 rpm, a peak torque of 560 Nm / 4000 rpm, and an official comprehensive fuel consumption of about 15.7L / 100km.
