The Buddha was born to prophesied that he would become enlightened

author:Buddha's heart message

If we want to understand Buddhism and practice Buddhism, we must first understand the teachers of Buddhism. Whether His personality, his wisdom, is worthy of our belief and follow-up, and whether the ideas he conveys are what we really need.

We believe in Buddhism, and whatever the reason for practicing the Dharma, we must understand the Buddhist master, Shakyamuni Buddha, in depth and detail.

According to the biography of Shakyamuni Buddha, the Buddha was born to The King of Pure Rice and Lady Maya, the lord of the Kapilava Kingdom, and was born under a carefree tree in the Garden of Lumbini, and when the Buddha was born, he had a vision in the sky, and after landing on the ground, he was able to walk without support, taking seven steps in each of the four directions of the southeast, southwest, and northwest, and saying: "Heaven and the world, I am the only one." Then two dragons appeared in the sky, one with hot water at one mouth and one with clear water, bathing the prince.

The news of the birth of the prince soon spread, and people from all over the world came to the Lumbini Garden to congratulate the Buddha on his birth. Near the Lumbini Garden, there lived a Brahmin practitioner, quite knowledgeable, who rushed to meet the prince with great excitement, and after carefully examining the prince's honor, told the King of Pure Rice that if the prince inherits the throne, he is definitely an enlightened saint, and if the prince likes pure practice, then he will definitely open the road to the liberation of all sentient beings.

The King of Pure Rice was both happy and sad about the words of the lover, and as the head of a country, he certainly hoped that the prince would inherit his throne and become an enlightened monarch like him.

Another ascetic, Azuta, the most influential of the many ascetics of the Brahmins, also came to meet the prince. His insight was more profound than that of the brahmins before him, and he told the King of Pure Rice that the prince's ambition would not be in the worldly world in front of him, and that the prince would definitely sacrifice his throne and become a monk to achieve the path of Buddha's enlightenment. As he spoke, Azur wept bitterly, because he was old and was about to die soon, and he could not wait to be taught by the prince to become a Buddha in the future.

From this point of view, the birth of the prince is to achieve the Dao. It was predestined. Because of the social environment at that time, the extreme imbalance of the system, and the inequality brought about by the strict hierarchical system, there was an urgent need for a great enlightened person to lead sentient beings to eliminate their troubles and karmic obstacles and find liberation.

Life is a practice, how the Buddha practiced the path to enlightenment. I hope that friends who like Buddhism will discuss it together. Nam no Amitabha.
