For most manga lovers, Chinese simplified and genuine work by Osamu Tezuka seems to be a desert, with little to see except for the four musketeers of Astro Boy, Three-Eyed Boy, Doctor Black Jack, and My Monkey King, published by different units a long time ago. In contrast, the Hong Kong and Taiwan Publishing House systematically published Tezuka's works in the 1990s, and in recent years, Taiwan's Dongshang Publishing House has also remade Tezuka manga, which has exceeded dozens. If you want to collect Chinese version of the master's works, it seems that there are only options for Hong Kong and Taiwan, and I have to say that there are some regrets. Gowaku Publishing Company was determined to fill this gap and formulated a grand Tezuka publishing plan, but unfortunately, as the first shot, "Fire Bird" had a mediocre response and became a squib, which was not a rival to the East Selling Edition at all. The absence of two entire chapters is fatal. Just when everyone was wondering whether "Bird of Fire" had become a masterpiece, the Houlang version of "The Forest Emperor" was launched without any warning, which can be described as a stone stirring up a thousand waves.
