Under the agreement signed between the two countries, Hualong One will be used for the construction of the Bradwell B nuclear power project in the south-east of England.

The "Bradwell B" nuclear power project is one of the projects signed by the Chinese nuclear power company CGN in 2016 with EDF and the British government to build a new nuclear power package in the UK. According to the plan, the "Bradwell B" nuclear power project will build two "Hualong One" units, jointly owned by EDF and CGN.
