Before I learned about the curriculum, I thought that the Master of Marketing program at the University of Chinese Hong Kong was partial to management, but later through the introduction of the school's official website, I learned that cuHK's Mkt had two branches: Managerial Marketing and BigData Marketing. ManagerialMarketing focuses on branding, advertising and PR, while BigData Marketing focuses on the application of big data in marketing, including the scientific engineering of digital and database marketing.
In the post-PANDEMIC era, the role of the digital economy is becoming more and more significant. Based on this trend, the widespread rise of new concepts and new paradigms such as big data and cloud computing is undoubtedly leading a new round of Internet trends. BigDataMarketing at Chinese University of Hong Kong not only meets my expectations for interprofessionalism, but also meets my future career plans and prospects. So I immediately expressed to the teacher the willingness to adjust the application portfolio, compress the master of accounting program in the portfolio, replace the marketing-related projects, and fill in the economics projects, the teacher also respected my needs, and finally finalized the application portfolio in October 2020, and then the preparation of other materials was also carried out in an orderly manner, so that I finally received 3 offers from dream school Chinese business school.
