The Health Minister explained at a press conference on Monday that special reagents are indeed used to identify Omikeron, but I think almost all of them are Omikejong, so they are no longer needed (special reagents). Currently, we are conducting a special Opichron test to detect the spread of cases.
In terms of PCR sensitivity, there is no 100% perfect detection because the accuracy range is 95-99%.
"Therefore, for foreign entrants, if the test is positive, a comparative test can be done," he concluded.
