Pacers reporter explained sending away Sam: Carlisle was not cold to his performance & it was basically impossible to renew his contract

Live Bar Feb. 9 In a deal made today, Little Sabonis was sent to the Kings by the Pacers.

Pacers reporter Bob Kravitz reported explaining why the team traded Sam:

1, the management wants to break up the twin towers, more ideally to send Turner away, but his injury makes the deal difficult to reach;

2) Bob Kravitz said he never felt Carlisle's excited reaction to Sabonis Jr.'s performance.

3) In addition, Sam's contract will expire in two years, when it is almost impossible for him to stay with the Pacers.
