I noticed that this book still originated from Dark Horse Teacher, who is the translator of the book, and we are all mixed in a community. Out of curiosity about Lawrence, and also trusting the recommendation of The Dark Horse Teacher, he carefully read the book.

The book includes many of Lawrence's famous works published during his lifetime, such as "Miscellaneous Notes on the Mines of Nottingham", "A Debate for the lover of Mrs. Chaterley <>", "Pornography and Obscenity", and some prose works that the author only met with readers after his death, such as "No One Loves Me", "Lips and Teeth On Men and Women", and "Substance".

In these works, Lawrence sometimes talks about religious beliefs, sometimes talks about gender relations, sometimes passionately points out the country, and while showing his literary talent, he also shows the unique vision of a thinker.

My impression of Lawrence is more on his novels, such as "Rainbow", "Madame Chatterley's Lover", "The Woman in Love", etc., love and sex have always run through his works, making people feel different from other writers.

As a creator and critic, Lawrence's creative philosophy itself is not difficult to understand, he said: "The fundamental role of art is to carry the way, not aesthetic, gambling, leisure and pleasure." ”

A good work, that is, a way that the reader can accept, penetrates the resonance of the author's expectations, and this process should be beautiful, natural, and pleasant. Love is the normal human condition, sex is the instinct of love, and in Lawrence's view, there is nothing wrong with carrying the word in this way.

"Novels and Feelings", an unpublished essay by Lawrence during his lifetime, clearly illustrates his intentions in choosing the subject matter of his works:
