Apple CEO Tim Cook spent $10.1 million to buy a 9,956-square-foot home (about 925 square meters) in a premium residential area in La Quinta, California.

According to Dirt, the deal was actually completed in 2018, but the news that Cook was the rumored buyer was only recently confirmed. Cook has a five-bedroom mansion located at the Madison Club, an upscale neighborhood in Southern California.
Public records show that Cook may have paid $9.1 million, while data from the Multiple Listing Network shows he paid $10.1 million. Both figures are below the $11.5 million listing price of the property.
Developed by discovery Land Company, the Madison Club is known for its expensive desert homes and Tom Fazio-designed golf courses.
Other owners of the Madison Club include Kourtney Kardashian, Cindy Crawford, Kris Jenner, Nike founder Phil Knight, and Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli.
