According to the famous Woj this morning, the Cavaliers sent Rubio, a 2022 lotto-protected first-round pick and a 2022 second-round pick and a 2027 second-round pick, from the Pacers to Le Ver and a 2022 second-round pick.
According to Chris Fedor, a reporter for The Honest Man of Cleveland, multiple sources have revealed that Cavaliers management recently looked at the possibility of getting a deal for Devonzenzo, though the Bucks weren't interested in helping a team they had to meet on their trip to defend their title.
Fedor said Cavaliers executives have been in touch with the Rockets, discussing Eric Gordon's deal, discussing gary Harris and Terence Rose with the Magic, and even asking spurs guard Derrick White.
Several sources said the Cavaliers were reluctant to pay a first-round pick for Gordon, and despite his high-calibre shooting season, he had a long history of injuries and did not fit the team's timeline. The Rockets have been insisting on a return at this level (at least one first-round pick), with multiple sources suggesting the Rockets may keep Gordon on the trade deadline (4 a.m. on Feb. 11) and trade again in the offseason. And the Spurs want young players and draft picks (the asking price for White).
