After the match, Liverpool winger and Senegal's Mane were named the best player of the tournament, while Chelsea goalkeeper and Senegal's Eduard Mendy was named the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
This is the first time in the history of the Senegalese national team that they have won the Africa Cup of Nations, after they have been runners-up twice.
