Bayern meets with Reds striker agents
Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool striker Mane this summer. The 30-year-old is enjoying another prolific season at Liverpool, scoring 20 goals and providing four assists in 46 games. However, Mane's future at Anfield has been questioned as the striker has just over a year left on his contract. Bayern sporting director Salihamidzic met with Mane's agent last weekend to discuss the possibility of joining the Bundesliga giants, according to British media reports. The report also said Mane was not close to dedicating his future to Liverpool, with the Senegalese striker unhappy that contract negotiations with teammate Salah "took precedence" on the red side in Merseyside. Since joining Liverpool from Southampton in 2016, Mane has made 264 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions, scoring 117 goals, assisting 47 times and winning five major trophies.
Mbappe appeared in Madrid to raise suspicions
Real Madrid's target Mbappe has been spotted in the Spanish capital, with rumors suggesting he could move to the Bernabeu in the summer. The 23-year-old, whose contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires next month, is said to be eager to join the Galaxy and is willing to take a pay cut to complete the transfer to Ancelotti. With little time left on the contract, Mbappe's appearance in Madrid sparked speculation that the Frenchman was negotiating a transfer with Real Madrid. Spanish media COPE posted a photo of Mbappe entering a restaurant in Madrid with teammate Ashraf on Monday afternoon. The report also said the two players arrived at the restaurant with two others, with Ashraf accompanied by his brother. Mbappe has since posted photos of himself in Madrid with barber Bris-Chaga and Ashraf on social media. Mbappe has made 43 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain in all competitions this season, scoring 35 goals and assisting 23 times.
