Former player: Leeds winter window rejected offers totalling £120 million against Rafinha & Phillips and others

According to Football Insider, former Leeds United and England national team defender Danny Mills said in an interview that Leeds United rejected offers from West Ham United and other teams for players such as Rafinha and K-Phillips in the winter window, totaling up to 120 million pounds.

"I understand that Leeds United rejected offers totalling £120 million for a number of players in the winter window, with West Ham United all offering Rafinha and K-Phillips over £50m and possibly other players. But is it really possible for Leeds United to get them both out of the team? Or is it West Ham United who, knowing that the trade is unlikely to succeed, want to make themselves look like they have tried. ”

"It seems to me that West Ham has some actual elements and wants to make the public look like the team is very ambitious. It's normal to make an offer, but it's a bit like a smoke bomb if there's no chance of a deal being made. ”

Rafinha, as well as K-Phillips' contract with Leeds United, will not expire until 2024.
