It's official: Bayern have renewed their contract with second-team goalkeeper Manuel Keynes until June 2024

Bayern have officially announced that they have renewed their contract with the second team's 19-year-old goalkeeper Manuel Keynes until June 2024.

Keynes joined Bayern Youth in the summer of 2015 and has been playing for the second team since the season and has made nine appearances for the team in the Bavarian regional league. Bayern have already renewed their contracts with Lucas Schneller, Jacob Mayer and Rizi Hersmann, and now they have also completed a contract extension with Manuel Keynes.

Bayern second team manager Holger Seitz said: "Manuel is a native of Munich and is delighted that he can continue to grow with us and will continue to strive to be in the first team for years to come. ”

Separately, 17-year-old Mike Eberhart and 18-year-old Jonathan Ensangchmana have both left Bayern's second team for a move to other teams, and Seitz wishes them all the best for the future of their new club.
