During the National Day in 2015, super typhoon Rainbow No. 22 directly attacked Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, causing a large-scale water and power outage, communication interruption, traffic paralysis, and seriously affecting the production and life of the people.
While on vacation, I returned to my post, obeyed the arrangement, and participated in the rescue and disaster relief. During the day, I worked with officers and men to repair roads, rescue the trapped masses, coordinate emergency medical treatment, and use of electricity and water; at night, I summarized the situation of emergency rescue and disaster relief in the combat duty room, made overall arrangements for the next day's action, and promptly adjusted the rescue and disaster relief plan. For 11 consecutive days and nights, we have been riveting in the frontline of disaster relief, successively coordinating and directing more than 12,000 officers and men, more than 1,100 vehicles of various types, removing more than 7,000 tons of roadblocks and garbage, and dredging more than 100 kilometers of roads, successfully completing the tasks of emergency rescue and disaster relief and helping to resume work and production.
When I dragged my tired body to open the door, my 3-year-old daughter couldn't recognize me anymore, crying and shouting: "Mom, there is a dark and dirty person in the house!" ”
Loving the people and helping the people is not just about emergency rescue and disaster relief. Looking back at the before and after participating in the support of local targeted poverty alleviation, I have a more real understanding of today's rural revitalization.
In the seven years since 2012, I have made more than 70 field trips to poor villages, visited and comforted poor households nearly 100 times, led the organization of medical assistance, health assistance, consumption assistance and other activities for many times, and participated in the support of 9 Naval Hope Primary Schools and 2 Bayi Aimin Schools.
In 2017, I took the lead in helping the Southern Theater to Zicheng Village in Xinfeng County, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province. In addition to the war readiness training, I often used my rest time to go deep into poor villages, go into villages and households to eat and live with the villagers, find out the bottom number, build accounts, and set up measures. Through my investigation, I found that due to historical disputes, there is more than 1 kilometer of "broken head road" at the mouth of the village. I took the initiative to move forward to resolve the contradictions, and finally led by the organs of the southern theater, jointly funded by the local government and enterprises, the village committee took out a small amount of public land, opened up the "broken head road", and the villagers no longer traveled "a foot of mud on a rainy day, and a gray body on a sunny day."
What is touching is that when the traffic was opened, the villagers spontaneously named the road "Double Embrace Road" and erected road signs.
At the beginning of 2018, I encountered a poisonous insect bite during a field survey in Zicheng Village, which caused an infection and continued to have a fever. It was the critical time to formulate the support plan at the beginning of the year, and I gritted my teeth and persevered. Through the efforts of many parties, the whole village bid farewell to poverty at the end of 2019. On the eve of the Spring Festival this year, the villagers sent text messages to tell us that after getting rid of poverty and embarking on the road of rural revitalization, everyone was more energetic and had a better life.
That night, I stood by the patient's bedside

One night in September 2018, I had just finished my treatment of a patient in a severe coma when I received a call from the emergency department. The patient is a diver who works under the sea outside Zhoushan for 4 consecutive days. In the afternoon of the same day, he worked underwater continuously for half an hour, and when he was resting on the boat, he suddenly lost his vision and hearing, and was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment.
The patient was admitted to a pressurized cabin for emergency treatment. "The patient's life is in danger, I accompany him in the cabin, and I can handle the situation at any time." I volunteered to go into the cabin with the patient.
The temperature and air pressure in the cabin continued to rise, the nitrogen anesthesia effect appeared, and I had symptoms such as panic and breathing effort, but I did not panic, and I stayed with the patient in the cabin for nearly 8 hours. When the patient came out of the cabin, his hearing and vision had been basically restored, and he held my hand and thanked me one after another: "Thank you to your relatives in the People's Liberation Army!" ”
"A year will come to an end, and no one will return." I know very well that when a good military doctor serves the people, it is never divided into holidays or ordinary times.
On February 17, 2020, during the Spring Festival, I went to Wuhan with the Navy Medical Team to the Guanggu Branch of Hubei Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital as the attending physician and chief resident physician of the 5 departments of infection. After more than 40 days of continuous struggle, optics valley campus has treated a total of 136 new crown pneumonia patients.
Cheng Jinqing, an 85-year-old critically ill patient with Alzheimer's disease, diabetes and high blood pressure, often unplugs the oxygen device after admission and asks to go home.
One night, I had just finished working in the red zone of the hospital, and the nurse on duty called urgently: "The old man turned over the bed, sat on the ground and coughed, and had difficulty breathing!" "I couldn't care less about changing my already soaked clothes, and I rushed into the ward again with exhaustion and protective gear.
I worked with two nurses to help him get back to his bed. "The old man has been emotionally unstable since he was admitted to the hospital, and this time his temper is even greater!" A casual remark from the nurse reminded me. I immediately looked at the oxygen saturation on the monitor, found that it was hovering at a low value, and immediately realized that the patient's irritability may be caused by worsening symptoms of hypoxia.
This judgment proved to be correct in hindsight. When the old man, who had just been quieter, began to agitate again, I immediately activated the emergency rescue plan, replaced it with a high-flow oxygen device, ventilated the prone position, reviewed blood oxygen, and increased the dose of anti-inflammatory drugs for phlegm. Slowly, the old man's mood calmed down.
That night, I kept watch at the old man's bed. By the time the indicators of the elderly gradually improved, I handed over the follow-up nursing work, took off the protective clothing and returned to the clean area, the sky had already revealed the white of the fish's belly.
On the way to help the people, pass the baton

The New Year is approaching, and the taste of the new year in the barracks is also strong. What makes me and my comrades-in-arms happiest is to see the smiling faces of the villagers in the big mountain villages around me.
In April 2020, I received instructions from the political organs of the army: "The tea grown in dashan villages is not sellable, and tea farmers grow tea very hard, and we must try to help solve the sales channel." ”
I immediately contacted the tea merchants and invited them to conduct a field survey. One of the tea merchants took a fancy to the high-quality tea produced in Dashan Village, quickly purchased all the unsalable tea leaves, and reached an agreement with the village: when picking new tea in the later stage, he would bring experts to the village to guide the villagers on how to do a good job in marketing. With the unremitting efforts of my comrades-in-arms and me, all the unsalable tea leaves were sold smoothly.
I was born into a military family, my grandfather participated in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and my father participated in important military operations on the border. His father, who has been transferred for many years, has always maintained the excellent style of a soldier, actively devoted himself to public welfare undertakings, and has won many honors such as "Good Man of China" and "May Day Labor Medal of Henan Province".
At the time, I didn't fully understand my father: "After all these years, what made you insist on devoting yourself to public welfare?" "The party's good policies have taken our family to the road to prosperity and a good life." Being able to do something for the masses is my responsibility and obligation as a veteran party member and a veteran. "Under the influence of my father, I decided to join the army.
In May 2014, after almost a year as a soldier, I saw a message in the media: looking for "surrogate mothers" for 100 outstanding poor children. Among them was an orphan, the aunt who adopted her was over 60 years old, the family life was difficult, and the adopted orphans faced the dilemma of dropping out of school.
I immediately contacted this aunt through the local women's federation. Taking advantage of a weekend outing, I came to their house. After seeing the sensible little girl, I secretly decided: I would never let her drop out of school! Since then, every year when I take time off, I will send her school supplies and living expenses.
Before joining the army, I worked as a student union cadre at my alma mater, Henan Normal University. During my time at school, I co-founded the "Children's Education Fund" with some teachers and students. Since 2018, everyone has donated a certain amount of money every year to help students from disadvantaged families who are both good at learning and learning.
During this year's Spring Festival, I learned that the number of teachers and students participating in this activity has grown to 17. From local college students to revolutionary soldiers, from helping to accurately alleviate poverty to helping rural revitalization, I feel very happy and worthwhile. In the new year, I will continue to work hard and insist on making the people's children love the people at any time.
The care of love opens a window

I love children and being a teacher has always been my dream. Although my dream did not come true, I was inextricably linked to education when I put on my military uniform.
In the past 17 years, I have been to the poor villages in Kashgar, Xinjiang, to the mountains in Xiangxi, Hunan, and also to the winding mountain roads in Baoding, Hebei Province, which are not accessible by car, and I like to hear the dolls in the mountains call me "Soldier Mother".
In the summer of 2019, the unit organized outstanding students from The Zhongkou Village Primary School in Laishui County, Hebei Province, to participate in summer camp activities in Beijing. For 7 days, I accompanied the primary school students to visit the Forbidden City, tour the Great Wall, go to Tiananmen Square to watch the raising of the national flag, lead them to visit the dream Tsinghua University, go to Beihai Park to see the white pagoda sung in the song, watch the training of the honor guard of the three services, and experience the infinite mysteries of the China Science and Technology Museum. The colleague smiled and said, "You are more dear to other people's children than to your own children!" ”
At the end of that year, the principal of the school sent a video, the students wearing the new uniforms donated by me and my comrades-in-arms, lined up in front of the "Bayi Multi-purpose Building" built by the troops to sing "Grateful Heart", this scene made me feel a sense of responsibility, achievement and pride.
Education and support is not only to give money and things, but also to learn to borrow talents and stimulate endogenous motivation. In November 2019, I brought some teachers from a key primary school in Beijing to Liao Jiaqiao Primary School in Fenghuang County, Hunan Province, to carry out hand-in-hand teaching activities. The week's time is full of activities such as listening to lectures, special topic teaching and research, and business guidance, which not only allows Beijing teachers to see the dedication of mountain village teachers, but also allows mountain village teachers to learn cutting-edge teaching concepts.
If the essence of education is that a tree shakes another tree, a cloud pushes another cloud, and a soul awakens another soul, then education help is to help students in poor areas open a window and open a door to let them see a better future.
On the eve of August 1 last year, children from the Military and Civilian Tongxin Kindergarten in 9 villages of Laitbagh Township, Kashgar, Xinjiang, sent their paintings. Cute smiling faces wearing military hats, performing military salutes, kicking and walking, the eye-catching title is "When I grow up, I will also be a People's Liberation Army". I am proud that I have participated in the construction of this kindergarten from site selection, construction, decoration to use.
During this year's Spring Festival, I found that there were 7 "Bayi Aimin Schools" that I participated in contacting and helping, and my "circle of friends" covered hundreds of teachers and staff and thousands of students.
