On October 25, on Fengsheng Road in Hongshan District, Wuhan City, a brand-new "Shouyihong" subway train drove across the elevated section of the Qingling River from the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Station to Baisha 6th Road.
According to the on-site observation of jimu news reporters, every 12 minutes, a pair of "Shouyi red" trains drive in opposite directions. Nearby residents said that every day the train trial runs would last until the evening.
It is reported that Wuhan Metro Line 5 is the first subway line in Wuhan to operate in fully automatic driving mode, and is one of the main traffic trunk lines connecting Wuchang District to Qingshan District, with a total length of 32.5 kilometers, 25 stations, as well as a parking lot, a depot, and the introduction of 35 trains. The line is expected to open to traffic by the end of the year.
