Years later, Caroline, who finally recognized the reality, has been able to face this unbearable past, and will appear in some "anti-human trafficking" activities, warning young girls not to fall into their traps step by step because of their boyfriends courting and giving gifts, "this is a common routine used by pimps," Caroline said.
Recently, Canadian media CityNews released a report related to human trafficking in Canada, which told the story of Caroline.
Shockingly, in Canada, which we thought was a quiet year, human trafficking cases are increasing year on year, and most of the victims are not reporting (like Caroline).

The data shows that in 2019, the police received a total of 511 reports of human trafficking cases, an increase of 44% over the previous year.

Another survivor, Morgan Sowerbutts, told an even more chilling story, when she called the police after she was abducted and forced into prostitution.
However, when the police came to her house to investigate, "I found out that he was a former client of my prostitutes, and he continued to call me by my pseudonym." ”
"The most violent clients I've ever come into contact with are lawyers, doctors, police officers," she said.
Caroline and Morgan have escaped from the Cave, but there may be countless Canadian girls who are still struggling.
