Born in 1966, Cai Bin coached the Shanghai women's volleyball team in 1997. Since 1999, he has been the head coach of the National Youth Women's Volleyball Team. In 2001, Cai Bin competed for the position of head coach of the Chinese women's volleyball team once, but did not succeed. In 2009, Cai Bin succeeded Chen Zhonghe and began to coach the Chinese women's volleyball team. However, 1 year later, Cai Bin left class, and Wang Baoquan replaced Cai Bin. Since then, Cai Bin has coached the Beijing women's volleyball team and began to coach the Jiangsu women's volleyball team since 2014!
After Lang Ping took over the Chinese women's volleyball team in 2013, he created a brilliant record. Including the runner-up of the 2014 Women's Volleyball World Championship, the 2015 World Cup Champion, the 2016 Olympic Champion, the 2018 World Championship Runner-up, and the 2019 World Cup Champion. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the Chinese women's volleyball team was out, and then Lang Ping chose to retire.
