Originated in 1989, Magic Idol is a long-lived horror film series with more than 10 sequels.

Then the time jumped to 30 years later, the male protagonist Eddie had just divorced and lived with his parents at the request of his mother.
He went to his brother's room and saw a delicately shaped skeleton puppet, but didn't care.
He is a cartoonist and works part-time in a comic shop. His boss, Marco, is also a good friend of his, shares a passion for him and is obsessed with comics.
Online, Eddie stumbled upon an advertisement for a doll auction that felt very similar to the style of the doll in his brother's room.
When Eddie came home from work, he met ashley, the sister of his friend many years ago, and this beautiful girl actually took the initiative to talk to him, which made Eddie, who had just come out of marriage, feel like falling in love again.
After returning home, Eddie picked up the puppet and studied it carefully, when the hook and knife hidden in the puppet's hand suddenly popped out, nearly cutting Eddie.

The three of them walked together and came to the destination of the trip, the Copper Buckle Hotel.

Introduced by Carol, a policewoman who handled the case 30 years ago, they learned that the doctor's name was Toulon and learned about the life of this perverted murderer.
Toulon's family inherited the production and performance of magic dolls, and around 1920 he went to Germany to serve the Nazis for a time. After the end of World War II, he moved to the United States.
In this mansion, Toulon once imprisoned several Jewish women. His private collections are also some metaphysical books.
That night 30 years ago, Carol broke into Toulon's room and shot him.
Later, a distant relative of his came to claim his body and buried him in a burial chamber he had prepared in advance at the back of the hotel.
The burial chamber is very strange, and there are many strange sticks inserted in the top of the tomb.
After the tour, Eddie returns to the room to find the puppet missing. He suspected that someone had stolen it, so he quickly called the police.
Then there is the climax of the film, in the next 60 minutes, the film spends a lot of space to show the brain holes of the director and screenwriter, all kinds of novel ways to die are breathtaking, and the estimation of the crew's funds is also spent on plasma and box lunches.
When the police arrived, they found that the hotel was more than just a theft. They found strangely dead people in many rooms. And these dead were either Jews or Gypsies.

The police reunited the remaining guests and made a new plan to capture a puppet and study its structure to see if they could find their weaknesses.
Imaginative Eddie speculates that the puppets were all made by Toulon, and because Toulon was a Nazi, the Nazi puppets were aimed at Jews and Gypsies.
The purpose of making these puppets should be to use these puppets as spies, they are small and flexible, convenient for spying on the enemy. Of course, these are just his guesses.
So they followed the plan, and it happened that Marco was of Jewish descent, so he volunteered to sing Jewish songs to attract a puppet.
After capturing the puppet, they discover a strange purple energy device inside.
At this moment, puppets appear one after another, ready to besiege them.
In order to avoid a recurrence of the parking lot massacre, the policewoman suggested that everyone disperse and hide in an enclosed room and wait for rescue.
Eddie and the others hid in a room, and just when they thought it was safe, Wood suddenly attacked and killed Marco and another companion.
Eddie and Ashley fled the room after destroying the puppet. Eddie thinks that something in the burial chamber is controlling the puppets, so he drives the car and crashes the grave, and sure enough, all the puppets immediately lose power.
But the boss in the grave awakens, and after a fight, Ashley sacrifices heroically, listening to the siren approaching, the boss slowly walks into the woods, and the film ends here.
But this series obviously has a follow-up story, and I don't think a sequel or anything will be too far away.
