Many of the hot-blooded teenagers in anime are actually voiced by women, such as Goku in Dragon Ball, Luffy in One Piece, and Naruto Uzumaki in Naruto today. Naruto's voice actress, Junko Takeuchi, has played mostly male roles since his debut in the 1990s, and has created countless classic images of hot-blooded teenagers for us.
My first impression of Junko Takeuchi was not actually Naruto, but another classic hot-blooded juvenile work: Full-time Hunter, in which she voiced the protagonist Xiaojie. In 1999, the Full-Time Hunter anime aired, years before Naruto, but I saw it domestically for the first time. That summer, when I was bored at home, I accidentally bought a pirated disc and watched "Full-Time Hunter" in comfort. Before that, I had read manga for a long time, and I was familiar with the plot of the story, but the animation was really well-made, and second, the performances of the voice actors were very hard, especially Junko Takeuchi, who showed a fledgling, energetic and enthusiastic teenager to the fullest. Unfortunately, in 2011, when the new anime aired, the protagonist voice actor was replaced by Pan Emi, and although the performance was still outstanding, I personally still prefer the voice of Junko Takeuchi.
The first time I watched Naruto, I also read the manga first, first shamelessly rubbing a single book in the bookstore, and every time I took a holiday, I stayed until the clerk came to rush people to say that they were going to close the door before they were willing to leave - it would be really poor and could not afford to buy a single book, unlike now. Later, when I was able to watch the Naruto anime on discs, children who weren't chased away by the clerk might not understand. Hearing that vibrant, and some untamed voice, I had always thought it was a male voice, and I didn't expect that this voice actor's work I had seen before and liked it very much.
At that time, watching anime, I basically skipped the opening credits and went straight to the main film, knowing that the two were the same voice actor, or reading an article about Junko Takeuchi a long time later.
In addition to these two representative characters, Junko Takeuchi also voiced characters such as Motodo Shou in Lightning Eleven, Goma Beast and Peacock Beast in Digimon, Keihei (Seahorse and his younger brother) in Game King, and Lan Bo in Tutor, most of whom are male.
But the most interesting thing for me is that in Naruto she voiced Akamaru in addition to Naruto.
I remember that a few years ago, I also read the article to know this bean knowledge, told the classmates who also liked "Naruto", they also joked that I said how is it possible, completely incompatible, and the dog still needs to be dubbed? It wasn't until I later took out the end credits that I punched them in the face.
A few years ago, Junko Takeuchi was invited to China with Kakashi's voice actress Kazuhiko Inoue, Taii I was lucky to participate in this event, the two teachers on the scene naturally also performed a dubbing performance, Junko Takeuchi was born in 1972, but her personal feelings are still full of vitality, and the voice naturally shows the enthusiasm and vitality of the young man, hoping that her career can always be smooth and smooth, and then contribute to us the classic hot-blooded teenager role.
