McKennie: Every player has highs and lows, and we'll help Pulisic build confidence

Pulisic has made eight league appearances for Chelsea so far this season, and McKenni spoke about his situation at the Blues.

McKennie said: "A lot of people will say what they want, will express their opinions and I think as a player I can really understand what other players think and what he's going through. ”

"All of us have peaks and lows, and there are difficult times, and the most important thing is that we support each other together, and in the current situation of Pulisic, maybe it involves playing time, so it is good for him to get back on his feet and build confidence."

"I think he's still a very important piece of the puzzle for the team because he's probably the kind of player who has a flash in a game but doesn't shine the whole game. Opponents have difficulty predicting his style of play, and he can add difficulty to opponents or defeat opponents one-on-one in the opponent's penalty area. Everybody has their own opinion, everybody is saying what they want to say, but all of us here are supporting him, and we want to put him in a good position to be successful. ”

McKenney said of his previous removal from the U.S. national team in violation of team rules: "I think that was a good lesson, when I go back, it is very important to put my head down and work hard, Juve really helped me a lot, at the beginning I struggled a little, lost confidence, like I said it was a good lesson." ”

"I feel like I've let the team, the country, the family and myself down, so whenever I'm recalled, I always try to rebuild the relationship, trust everyone and show them that I'm here and give everything to help the team win. I think the most important thing as a person is to be needed, don't do that before. ”
