Jefferson on Wiggins: He's a combination of Durant and Harrison Barnes

Former NBA star Richard Jefferson spoke about his views on Wiggins on an ESPN show today.

Jefferson said: "When you look back at the Warriors in 2016, Harrison Barnes struggled in the playoffs as the team's third score point. The Warriors then replaced him with Kevin Durant, a puzzle that opponents could never solve. When you have Andrew Wiggins, he's kind of like a combination between Barnes and Durant. With all due respect, my little brother Barnes is more aggressive and athletic on the offensive end, but he's not exactly the same as Durant. So if Wiggins also plays like Durant, everything will be fine for the Warriors. If the team has an All-Star third scoring point and can still win when the dream has not returned, the team shoots only 39% from the field, and Curry is still struggling, then the Golden State Warriors will be a complete trouble for other teams. ”

Harrison Barnes averaged 11.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.6 steals, 0.2 blocks per game in the 2015-2016 regular season, shooting 46.6 percent from the field, 38.3 percent from three-point range and 76.1 percent from the free throws; and averaged 9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.2 blocks per game in the playoffs, shooting 38.5 percent from the field, 34.2 percent from three-point range, and 76.5 percent from free throws.

Wiggins played in 47 games this season, averaging 31.7 minutes per game, scoring 18.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1 steal, 0.7 blocks, shooting 48.7% from the field, 41.6% from three-point range and 67.1% from the free throw line.
