To celebrate Black History Month, Apple recently launched the Apple Watch "Black Unity" woven single-lap strap. It is reported that the design of the strap is inspired by "African Futurism", a philosophical concept that explores the black experience through a narrative of science, technology and self-empowerment.

In terms of color matching, the "Black Unity" woven single-circle strap is based on black, colored from the Pan-African tricolor flag. It is made of 16,000 recycled polyester yarn filaments wound around ultra-fine silicone wire, interwoven using an advanced precision knitting machine, and then laser cut to obtain a precise length, to achieve a tailor-made fit. In addition, the strap is sweat and water resistant, and the snap clasp features the words "Black Unity" exclusive laser etching.

In addition, Apple has also recently launched a matching "Light of Unity" dial. The dial is designed with 2D ray tracing technology, and when used, each pixel on the dial screen simulates the light and shadow falling on the dial, and the movement of the pointer reveals and blocks the light in real time, dynamically changing with the time of day. The United Light dial can be customized to fill the entire screen or appear as a round dial, including black and white options, hour markers, up to four complications, and text imprint options.
