China Publishing Media Business News Recently, Zhejiang University Press QizhenGuan held a new book launch for the third edition of "Indian Cultural History" in Beijing. Shang Huipeng, author of "History of Indian Culture", had a conversation with economist Liang Jie and Wang Zhiyi, general manager of Beijing Qizhenguan Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., at the press conference.
The History of Indian Culture takes the historical period as the scripture and the religious culture as the weft, and presents the spiritual world of the Indian people from different levels. Shang Huipeng stressed that religion constitutes the core of the spiritual life of Indians, and it permeates all fields of culture. Liang Jie believes that India's economic reform for more than 20 years has shown a diversified and mixed situation: industrial reform and trade reform are the most thorough, the farthest and most successful. The impetus unleashed by industrial and trade reforms has pulled the economy to take off and get rid of the "Indian speed" that has been entangled for decades. Agricultural reforms have been slow, but the share of agriculture has been declining, so agriculture itself is not a problem, but the labor force attached to agriculture is the problem. Through his book The Voice of Mumbai: A Journey through Contemporary Bollywood Cinema (published by Dolphin Press), Wang Zhiyi shared his understanding of Indian cinema with readers. In addition to a detailed introduction to Indian films and well-known film stars in recent decades, the book also deals with Indian society, politics, religion and other content, such as the social status and caste system of Indian women, so that readers can further understand India through movies, which in turn helps readers better understand the ideological themes reflected in Indian films.
