In order to further improve the anti-drug awareness of the villagers and consolidate and deepen the masses' understanding of the harm of drugs, on the occasion of the Spring Festival in 2022, Chang'an Township in Hengyang County took advantage of the opportunity of villagers to go home for the New Year to extensively carry out the anti-drug publicity activities of "this winter and next spring".
During the activity, the Chang'an Township Government organized volunteers and cadres of the two village committees to distribute anti-drug propaganda materials to the villagers in the jurisdiction, explained to them in detail the types of drugs and the harmfulness of drug abuse and drug trafficking, and advocated that the masses be law-abiding citizens, stay away from drugs, and jointly build a solid anti-drug defense line.
It has been learned that since the Spring Festival, Chang'an Township has carried out 4 anti-drug propaganda activities, printed and distributed more than 1,000 copies of propaganda materials such as "An Open Letter to the People of the Whole Township on Narcotics Control," and educated more than 10,000 people, effectively deepening the people's recognition of "drug-free steaming and a happy Spring Festival," demonstrating the determination of the party committee and government to resolutely win the people's war against narcotics, and achieving good social results.
