AEW manager commentator Taz spoke on The Show about the story behind his son Hooke's AEW debut.
Taz admitted he was emotional about Hooke's debut and that he had been hesitant about how to schedule his son Hooke's game.
"I was a mess."
Taz said: "Hooke acted calm while I sat in the commentary seat. I don't want to comment on this game at all. But AEW boss Tony told me I had to do it. ”
In the end, Taz successfully presided over the game as a commentator, and in just a few minutes, Hooke won the game.
Taz said he was proud of Hooke, but also revealed it was the most difficult game he's ever played as a commentator.

Taz admitted: "It was the hardest game for me, the emotional connection couldn't be suppressed, I was one of his trainers and he was my son, you know, it was weird for me, really weird. But I'm very proud of his performance. "
Another interesting thing Taz revealed was that he and Hook didn't interact much either during or after the AEW show, and Taz preferred to let his son focus on his own thing.
